The Arlington Fire District is one of 3 fire departments that provides fire and EMS services to the residents of the Town Of Poughkeepsie. Arlington has four fire stations located at numerous ends of the Town. The fire district is staffed with 70 career and 35 volunteer members. The fire district is one of only two in Dutchess County that have career FF/Paramedics.

It features a three-sided bay with a four-sided conical roof with "V" shaped cutouts. It also has board-and-batten and clapboard siding, pierced balcony railings, and a stick style porch.

Vassar-Warner Row is a set of historic homes located at Poughkeepsie, Dutchess County, New York. Included in the row is the Vassar-Warner Home, built in 1837 in the Greek Revival style.
