The University of Malaya (UM) (Malay: Universiti Malaya) is a public research university located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is the oldest university in Malaysia and is the highest ranking Malaysian institution of higher education according to several international ranking agencies. The university has graduated two Prime Ministers of Malaysia and other political, business, and cultural figures of national prominence.

Bukit Kiara is a planned MRT station on the Sungai Buloh–Kajang (SBK) line, located between Phileo Damansara and Pusat Bandar Damansara stations. The proposed site is located to the south of the Bukit Kiara suburban area. It was also a planned interchange station with the MRT Circle Line.

The UM Arena Stadium (Malay: Stadium Sains Sukan UM Arena, literally UM Arena Sports Science Stadium) is a stadium located inside the University of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It holds 1,000 people. The stadium was used in the 2017 SEA Games football tournament and the 2018 AFC U-16 Championship.

Rimba Ilmu (literally forest of knowledge) is a tropical botanical garden set up by the late Professor W.R. Stanton in 1974 on the campus of the University of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It has over 1600 species of plants occupying over 80 hectares. It is populated mainly with indigenous plants species but include many from tropical Asia, the Pacific islands, Australia, South America, Africa and Madagascar.
