Taff Embankment

The Castle Arcade is a shopping arcade in Cardiff, South Wales.Started in 1887, it runs south from opposite Cardiff Castle, and then turns east to exit on the High Street, north of St Mary Street, in the Castle Quarter. One of the longer of Cardiff's famous Victorian arcades, it is also one of Cardiff's only two level shopping arcades, the other being Cardiff Market.

The Royal Hotel is a Grade II listed hotel on a prominent corner of St Mary Street/Wood Street in the centre of Cardiff, Wales. It is Cardiff's oldest grand hotel.

The new BBC Wales headquarters building, officially known as 3 Central Square and also known as BBC New Broadcasting House, is located in Central Square, Cardiff. The £120 million building will replace the BBC Cymru Wales Broadcasting House in Cardiff.

Cardiff Central bus station was the main bus transport interchange in the Cardiff city centre until it closed on 1 August 2015. With 34 stands, it was the largest bus station in Wales. It was located adjacent to Cardiff Central railway station forming a major interchange. Construction of a new bus station on the site of the former NCP multi-storey car park in Wood Street adjacent to the old bus station is due to begin early in 2018 with an expected date of completion in Spring 2023.

The Cardiff Riverside Branch was a short railway constructed as an industrial railway in Cardiff, South Wales by the Great Western Railway.New industries had developed along the banks of the River Taff south from Cardiff Central station towards Cardiff Docks. Whilst the main Bute and Roath docks were well serviced by both the Great Western Railway (GWR) and the Taff Vale Railway (TVR), the relatively thin spit of land between the River Taff and the Glamorganshire Canal, known locally as "Rat Island", was not.

Cardiff Start is a community interest organisation based in Cardiff, Wales which aims to promote and develop the start up sector in Wales' capital city.The group aims to empower entrepreneurs running startups in and around Cardiff, or those that work at them. The group's impact has been noted, with Tech Nation referring to its work as part of its review of Cardiff's reputation as "Europe's fastest growing tech city."

The Wales Empire Pool, known locally as the Empire Pool, was an international standard swimming pool building, located in Cardiff, Wales from 1958 until it was demolished in 1998. It was a centrepiece for the 1958 British Empire and Commonwealth Games.

Wood Street Congregational Church was a congregational chapel which formerly stood on Wood Street, Cardiff. It was once the largest congregational chapel in South Wales. It was demolished in the 1970s.

Womanby Street is one of the oldest streets in Cardiff, the capital of Wales.Tracing its name back to origins within the Norse language, its original purpose was to link Cardiff Castle to its quay. In this way it became a trade hub and settling point for those incomers who made the city their home. Throughout its history a location of merriment and consumption of ale, today it is still an original but restored area within the city where visitors can continue to enjoy hostelries and entertainment.

Clwb Ifor Bach (Welsh pronunciation: [ˈklʊb ˈivɔr ˈbaːχ], meaning Little Ivor's Club) is a Cardiff nightclub, music venue, Welsh-language club and community centre. It is known to the Cardiff Welsh-speaking community as Clwb (English: Club) and is often known by others on the Cardiff music scene as The Welsh Club.
