It is the tallest completed building in Guangzhou, the third-tallest in China, and the seventh-tallest in the world.

Haixinsha Island (Chinese: 海心沙) is an island in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China. It is located to the south of Zhujiang New Town, newly developed CBD of the city, to the north of Canton Tower and to the east of Er Sha Island.The island had been used as garrison and warehouses of the People's Liberation Army until the local government decided it was to be redeveloped and used as the venue of the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2010 Asian Games.

Zhujiang New Town Station (Chinese: 珠江新城站; pinyin: Zhūjiāng Xīnchéng Zhàn; Jyutping: zyu1gong1 san1sing4 zaam6) is an interchange metro station on Line 3 and Line 5 of the Guangzhou Metro. It started operations on 28 December 2005 and is located under the junction of Huaxia Road (华夏路) and Huacheng Avenue (花城大道) in Zhujiang New Town, Tianhe District, Guangzhou.

The R&F Centre is a 54-storey 243 m (797 ft) office skyscraper, designed by Aedas, on Huaxia Road in Tianhe District of Guangzhou, Guangdong, China. The glass and steel tower is modeled after a jade vase. Construction began in 2005 and it was completed in 2007.The R&F Centre is the headquarters of R&F Properties, a Guangzhou-based developer.
