Victoria Park (known colloquially as Vicky Park or the People's Park) is a park in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets in the East London, England. It is the largest park in Tower Hamlets and one of London's most visited green spaces with approximately 9 million visitors every year. The park spans 86.18 hectares (213.0 acres) of open space and opened to the public in 1845.

Old Ford Lock is a lock on the Regent's Canal, between Globe Town and Old Ford in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.The associated lock cottage, and stables were designated Grade II listed buildings in 1990. Thames lighters using the canal would have horses provided by the operators of the canal. Horses would be changed at City Road Lock - where the canal enters the Islington Tunnel; and at Camden Lock.

Hackney Wick is a suburb in the London boroughs of Hackney and Tower Hamlets in east London, England. It is also named after a district called Hackney, the administrative centre for a London borough with the same name. It is about 4.2 miles (6.8 km) northeast of Charing Cross and had a population of approximately 11,734 at the 2011 Census.

The A1205 is a road in east London which runs north to south parallel to the Regent's Canal and connects South Hackney and Victoria Park with the A13 at Limehouse. It is approximately 2 miles (3 km) in length, and runs in a roughly SSW direction.

Lovebox is a two-day music festival. In 2018 the event moved to Gunnersbury Park, London. The move came after Tower Hamlets turned down its application to continue in Victoria Park and Lambeth residents blocked its move to Brockwell Park.The event has been running since 2002 and was founded by DJs Groove Armada.

Field Day is a yearly outdoor music festival in London. In 2019 it will be held in a new location in Meridian Water, Enfield, London. It was first held in Victoria Park in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets on 11 August 2007 and returned there each year until 2017. The 2018 festival moved to Brockwell Park.

The London Chest Hospital, located in Bethnal Green in London, adjacent to Victoria Park, was a hospital with a national reputation for treatment of cardiac and pulmonary disease. Since 1999 it had been run by the Barts Health NHS Trust. It closed in April 2015 as part of the creation of the Barts Heart Centre at St Bartholomew's Hospital, by consolidation of services from the London Chest Hospital and The Heart Hospital, part of University College London Hospital.

The Cranbrook Estate is a housing estate in Bethnal Green, London, England. It is located next to Roman Road and is based around a figure of eight street called Mace Street. The estate was designed by Francis Skinner, Douglas Bailey and an elder mentor, the Soviet émigré Berthold Lubetkin.

Chisenhale Gallery is a non-profit contemporary art gallery based in London's East End.The organisation focuses on a programme of commissioned exhibitions, events, performances, and talks.Chisenhale Gallery produces four solo exhibitions each year.The gallery occupies the ground level of a 1930s veneer factory on Chisenhale Road situated in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, near Victoria Park, housed in the same building are Chisenhale Art Place and Chisenhale Dance Space.

Mossbourne Victoria Park Academy is a school in Victoria Park, Hackney (London, UK). It is the second school to be named under Mossbourne Academy. The school was created in 2014: the building formerly used by Cardinal Pole Roman Catholic School was first built to drawings by Robert Lewis Roumieu for the French Hospital (La Providence), which opened there in 1865.
