The Frankfurt Zoological Garden is the zoo of Frankfurt, Germany. It features over 4,500 animals of more than 510 species on more than 11 hectares. The zoo was founded in 1858 and is the second oldest Zoo in Germany, after Berlin Zoological Garden. It lies in the eastern part of the Innenstadt (inner city).

Frankfurt Ostendstraße station is an underground S-Bahn station in central Frankfurt am Main, Germany. The station was opened when the City Tunnel was extended to Frankfurt South station in 1990. It consists of two tracks, surrounding a central platform.Its entrance escalators are located next to the Hanauer Landstraße.

Frankfurt (Main) East station (German: Bahnhof Frankfurt (Main) Ost or Frankfurt Ostbahnhof) serves regional rail services in the Ostend district of Frankfurt, Germany. Its container terminal is one of the two remaining freight yards in the city (the other is Industriepark Höchst), after the much larger Frankfurt central freight yard (Hauptgüterbahnhof) was closed.

Hainbach is a small river of Hesse, Germany. It is a left tributary of the Main in Offenbach am Main.

Dr. Hoch's Konservatorium - Musikakademie was founded in Frankfurt am Main on 22 September 1878. Through the generosity of Frankfurter Joseph Hoch, who bequeathed the Conservatory one million German gold marks in his testament, a school for music and the arts was established for all age groups. Instrumental to the foundation, prosperity and success of the conservatory was its director Joachim Raff who did most of the work including setting the entire curriculum and hiring all its faculty.

The Klingspor-Museum is a museum in Offenbach, Germany, specializing in the art of modern book production, typography and type. It includes a collection of fine art books from Karl Klingspor, one of the owners of Klingspor Type Foundry in Offenbach am Main, which inspired the museum's creation.

The Hochschule für Gestaltung (HfG) Offenbach am Main is an art and design university in the German State of Hesse. The school is divided into two departments. It was given university status in 1970. The degree course offers a choice of different topics: design, art, communication design, media arts, stage design and product design.

The seat of the European Central Bank houses the headquarters of the European Central Bank (ECB). It is located in Ostend ("East End"), Frankfurt, Germany. The premises include the former Wholesale Market Hall (Großmarkthalle), a new 185/165 m twin-skyscraper and a new low-rise building to connect the two.

The Großmarkthalle (Wholesale Market Hall), in Ostend (East End), Frankfurt am Main, was the city's main wholesale market, especially for fruit and vegetables. It closed on 4 June 2004 and is considered a major example of expressionist architecture.
