Starting anywhere in Heckington, make your way past the station and windmill and walk into Great Hale, before reaching Little Hale Turn right and follow the road until you reach the junction directing you right towards Burton Pedwardine, when you've walked through the village there's another sign to go right, directing you back to Heckington, follow it and enjoy the view of the Windmill from across the fields. You'll see a public footpath sign directing you diagonally across the fields and it will come out onto Burton Road in Heckington, follow this back into the Centre of the village and to wherever your chosen starting point was.
