Easterhouse is a suburb of Glasgow, Scotland, six miles (ten kilometres) east of the city centre on land gained from the county of Lanarkshire as part of an expansion of Glasgow before the Second World War. The area is on high ground north of the River Clyde and south of the River Kelvin and Campsie Fells.

The station is 5¾ miles (9 km) east of Glasgow Queen Street railway station on the North Clyde Line and is managed by ScotRail.

St Leonard's Secondary School

St. Leonard's Secondary School (The Lenny) was a Catholic, mixed-sex, comprehensive secondary school located in Easterhouse, Glasgow.It was permanently closed in 1998 to pupils, and soon after was demolished. On the same ground now stands St. Benedict's Roman Catholic Primary School.The majority of pupils were relocated to St Andrew's Secondary.
