Burwell Creek is a creek in Floyd County, in the U.S. state of Georgia. It is a tributary to the Oostanaula River which it joins within the city of Rome.Burwell Creek was named for Judge Burwell, who settled nearby.

Chieftains Museum, also known as the Major Ridge Home, is a two-story white frame house built around a log house of 1819 in Cherokee country (it is within present-day Rome, Georgia, US). It was the home of the Cherokee leader Major Ridge. He was notable for his role in negotiating and signing the Treaty of New Echota of 1835, which ceded the remainder of Cherokee lands in the Southeast to the United States.

AdventHealth Stadium, located in Rome, Georgia, has been the home of the Rome Emperors, of the South Atlantic League, since its completion in April 2003. The facility seats 5,105 people.

The Chiaha Harvest Fair is an annual arts festival at Ridge Ferry Park in Rome, Georgia, United States. It takes place on the banks of the Oostanaula River with profits going towards supporting art education in the Rome and Floyd County area.The first Chiaha fair took place in 1964 with only a handful of artists.

The Sara Hightower Regional Library System (SHRLS) is a system of six public libraries in the Northwest Georgia region serving Chattooga County, Polk County and Floyd County. The headquarters of the system is the Rome-Floyd County Library, located in Rome, Georgia. Patrons of the library receive a PINES library card.

Its headquarters has a Rome postal address but lies outside of the Rome city limits.It serves the communities in the county outside of the city of Rome. They include Cave Spring, Lindale, Livingston, Mount Berry, Shannon, and Silver Creek.

The DeSoto Theatre is a theater in downtown Rome, Georgia, in the United States. The DeSoto Theatre was the first theater in the southeast to display sound film. It is currently owned by the Historic DeSoto Theatre Foundation, a nonprofit organization created by the building's former owner and current resident theatre group, the Rome Little Theatre.

Lumpkin Hill is a summit in Rome, Georgia. With an elevation of 640 feet (200 m), Lumpkin Hill is the 914th highest summit in the state of Georgia. The hill is considered to be one of the Seven Hills of Rome, Georgia.The summit was named for John Henry Lumpkin, who is also buried on the hill. In 1956, Lumpkin Hill's peak was leveled during the construction of Turner McCall Boulevard.
