Crowley to Uxbridge

The Battle of Britain Bunker is an underground operations room at RAF Uxbridge, formerly used by No. 11 Group Fighter Command during the Second World War. Fighter aircraft operations were controlled from there throughout the War but most notably during the Battle of Britain and on D-Day. Today it is run by Hillingdon Council as a heritage attraction with attached museum.

Uxbridge () is a suburban town in west London, England, and the administrative headquarters of the London Borough of Hillingdon, 15.4 miles (24.8 km) northwest of Charing Cross. Uxbridge formed part of the parish of Hillingdon in the county of Middlesex. As part of the suburban growth of London in the 20th century it expanded and increased in population, becoming a municipal borough in 1955, and part of Greater London in 1965.

Brunel University of London (BUL) is a public research university located in the Uxbridge area of London, England. It is named after Isambard Kingdom Brunel, a Victorian engineer and pioneer of the Industrial Revolution. It became a university in June 1966, when Brunel College of Advanced Technology was awarded a royal charter and became Brunel University; it is sometimes considered a plate glass university.

Hillingdon Civic Centre is a municipal building in the High Street, Uxbridge. The civic centre, which is the headquarters of Hillingdon London Borough Council, is a Grade II listed building.

The Brunel University lecture centre is a Grade II listed building on the campus of Brunel University of London, Uxbridge. It contains six large lecture halls with capacities of 160 to 200 people each, as well as smaller teaching rooms and lecture halls with capacities of 60 to 80. It was built in the mid-1960s in a brutalist style, using mostly reinforced concrete, as part of the expansion of Brunel College into Brunel University, and was designated as a Grade II listed building in 2011.

The Pavilions is an indoor shopping centre in Uxbridge, Greater London, England. It was opened in 1973 and refurbished in 1985 and has previously been known as the Pavilions Shopping Centre and before that, The Cedars Shopping Centre. Between 2005 and 2013, the centre was known as The Mall Pavilions while under the ownership of The Mall Fund.

The Market House, also known as Uxbridge Town Hall, is a commercial building in the High Street in Uxbridge, a suburb of London, England. The building, which is currently in commercial use, is a Grade II* listed building.
