Ballintemple (Irish: Baile an Teampaill, meaning 'town of the church') is a suburb of Cork city, Ireland. The village is situated on the east side of the city with its limits extending to the River Lee and the village of Blackrock further to the east. Originally, Ballintemple was a separate village but today it has been enclosed by the city.

The Everyman, also referred to as the Everyman Theatre and historically known as the Everyman Palace, is a 650-seat Victorian theatre on MacCurtain Street in Cork, Ireland. It opened in 1897, and is the oldest purpose-built theatre building in Cork. The theatre is housed in a protected Victorian building with a large stage and auditorium, a proscenium arch, four elaborately decorated boxes, a studio space and a bar.

Cork Albert Quay railway station was on the Cork, Bandon and South Coast Railway in County Cork, Ireland.

The Custom House is an early 19th-century building in Cork, Ireland. Originally developed as a custom house and opened in 1818, the Cork Harbour Commissioners (later reorganised as the Port of Cork Company) took over the building in 1904. The Port of Cork Company vacated the building in early 2021. The Custom House is, together with a number of other buildings on the same site, listed by Cork City Council on its Record of Protected Structures.

The Marina Market is an indoor food hall and multipurpose venue near the centre of Cork, Ireland. Formerly a warehouse, it was converted and then opened to the public in September 2020 during the COVID-19 Pandemic to offer food services to the community in an open-air space. Its popularity saw it continue to operate after the pandemic subsided.

Lapp's Island was once an island in the River Lee. It is now joined with the island which forms the center of Cork City, Ireland and refers to the eastern tip of that island.It was apparently named after an owner in the 17th century. The island had probably been reclaimed from swamp at that time. In the 18th century it was separated from the main island by a canal which roughly followed what is now Parnell Place.

Scoil Mhuire is a Catholic school for girls in Cork, Ireland.It was founded in 1951 by sisters Mary and Joan O'Donovan and their friend Kathleen Cahill. Joan O'Donovan would later become a religious sister in the Dominican Order. The school opened at 2 Sidney Place, Cork City, with 70 pupils aged from nine to seventeen years.

Daly's Distillery was an Irish whiskey distillery which operated in Cork City, Ireland from around 1820 to 1869. In 1867, the distillery was purchased by the Cork Distilleries Company (CDC), in an amalgamation of five cork distilleries. Two years later, in 1869, as the smallest CDC distillery, Daly's Distillery ceased operations.

St Angela's College, Cork is a non-fee paying girls secondary school catering for students between the ages of 12-19 around Cork city and the surrounding areas. The school has a Catholic ethos under the trusteeship of the Ursuline Sisters.

Live at the Marquee is a season of music concerts and other live performance events organised by Aiken Promotions in a large marquee in Cork, Ireland, every summer since 2005. A concert is held most evenings with the festival usually running from the end of May to late June/early July; tickets for each night are sold separately, with varying lineups and pricing.
