The 1929 Monaco Grand Prix was the first Grand Prix to be run in the principality. It was set up by wealthy cigarette manufacturer, Antony Noghès, who had set up the Automobile Club de Monaco with some of his friends. This offer of a Grand Prix was supported by Prince Louis II, and the Monégasque driver of that time, Louis Chiron.

It was race 2 of 10 in the 1960 World Championship of Drivers and race 2 of 9 in the 1960 International Cup for Formula One Manufacturers.The race was won by Stirling Moss in a Lotus 18 entered by the R.R.C Walker Racing Team.

The race was held over 100 laps of the three kilometre circuit for a race distance of 315 kilometres.

The 1965 Monaco Grand Prix was a Formula One motor race held at Monaco on 30 May 1965. It was race 2 of 10 in both the 1965 World Championship of Drivers and the 1965 International Cup for Formula One Manufacturers, albeit held almost five months after the first race of the season. The 100-lap race was won by BRM driver Graham Hill from pole position.

The 1969 Monaco Grand Prix was a Formula One motor race held at the Circuit de Monaco on 18 May 1969. It was race 3 of 11 in both the 1969 World Championship of Drivers and the 1969 International Cup for Formula One Manufacturers.The 80-lap race was won by Graham Hill, driving a works Lotus-Ford, after he started from fourth position.

The statue of William Grover (French: Statue de William Grover) is a bronze statue in Monaco, placed at the roundabout at the intersection of Boulevard Albert 1er, Rue Grimaldi, Avenue John F. Kenedy, and Avenue d'Ostende, within the district of Monte Carlo. It is dedicated to William Grover-Williams, a racing driver who, on 14 April 1929, won the first ever Monaco Grand Prix, and depicted driving his Bugatti Type 35.

The 1966 Monaco Grand Prix was a Formula One motor race held at the Circuit de Monaco on 22 May 1966. It was race 1 of 9 in both the 1966 World Championship of Drivers and the 1966 International Cup for Formula One Manufacturers. The race was the first World Championship event of a new era for Formula One, for which engine regulations were altered from 1.5 litres of maximum engine displacement to 3.0 litres.

The 2004 Monaco Grand Prix (formally the Formula 1 Grand Prix de Monaco 2004) was a Formula One motor race held on 23 May 2004, at the Circuit de Monaco, contested over 77 laps. It was Race 6 of 18 in the 2004 FIA Formula One World Championship. The race was won by Renault driver Jarno Trulli; his only victory in Formula One.

The 2011 Monaco Grand Prix, formally the Formula 1 Grand Prix de Monaco 2011, was held on 29 May 2011 at the Circuit de Monaco in Monte Carlo, Monaco. Sixth round of the 2011 Formula One season, the 78 lap race was won by the championship leader, Red Bull Racing's Sebastian Vettel who started from pole position.
