Clerys was a long-established department store on O'Connell Street in Dublin, Ireland, a focal point of the street. The business dates from 1853, however the current building dates from 1922, the original having been completely destroyed in the 1916 Easter Rising. Clerys completed a five-year restoration programme in 2004 at a cost of €24 million but went into receivership in 2012, and was sold.

It lies in the "Mansion House A" Electoral Division of Dublin. It was described by the prolific engraver Mary Milner as "one of the most spacious of the noble thoroughfares of the Irish metropolis."

D'Olier Street ( duh-LEER) is a restaurant in central Dublin, Ireland. It is owned by James Moore, Jane Frye and Anthony Smith; Moore is also executive chef. It is located in D'Olier Chambers, a Victorian building at the south end of D'Olier Street.

O'Connell Bridge (Irish: Droichead Uí Chonaill) is a road bridge spanning the River Liffey in Dublin, Ireland, which joins O'Connell Street to D'Olier Street, Westmoreland Street and the south quays.

Westmoreland is a stop on the Luas light-rail tram system in Dublin, Ireland. It opened in 2017 as a stop on Luas Cross City, an extension of the Green Line through the city centre from St Stephen's Green to Broombridge. It is located on Westmoreland Street, immediately to the south of O'Connell Bridge.

The O'Connell Monument is a 40 ft high commemorative granite and bronze monument honouring nationalist leader Daniel O'Connell (1775–1847) located on O'Connell Street, the main thoroughfare of Dublin, Ireland.The monument consists of a two-ton Dalkey granite foundation stone, on top of which are seated four winged victories (at angles), encircled above by a bronze frieze of over 30 figures in high-relief symbolizing Irish culture, surmounted at the top by the tall cloaked figure of O'Connell (at about 2.5 times life-size) looking southwards.: 15:58  A small pile of books lies at the base of O'Connell's left leg.

D'Olier Street ( duh-LEER; Irish: Sráid D'Olier) is a street in the southern city-centre of Dublin, the capital of Ireland. It and Westmoreland Street are two broad streets whose northern ends meet at the southern end of O'Connell Bridge over the River Liffey. Its southern end meets Fleet Street, Townsend Street, College Street and Pearse Street.

Hawkins House was a 12-storey office block in Dublin, Ireland. It was demolished in 2021.
