The Berlin Botanic Garden and Botanical Museum (‹See Tfd›German: Botanischer Garten und Botanisches Museum Berlin) is a botanical garden in the Lichterfelde locality of the borough of Steglitz-Zehlendorf, Berlin, Germany. Constructed between 1897 and 1910 under the guidance of architect Adolf Engler, it has an area of 43 hectares [ha] (106 acres) and around 22,000 different plant species.

The Berliner Phonogramm-Archiv is a collection of ethnomusicological recordings or world music, mostly on phonographic cylinders, assembled since 1900 in Berlin, Germany by the institution of the same name.

KISS FM 98.8 is a privately owned radio station broadcasting to Berlin and parts of Brandenburg on 98.8 FM MHz specialising in R&B, dance, hip hop and pop. Its studios are part of the medienzentrum Berlin located in the shopping center Das Schloss in the district of Steglitz.

Breitenbachplatz is a Berlin U-Bahn station located in the Dahlem district on the U3.It opened on 12 October 1913. The station, and the eponymous square, were named after Minister of State Paul von Breitenbach.It was constructed by German architect Wilhelm Leitgebel and closed for a few months during 1945 because of the Second World War.

The Dahlem Centre of Plant Sciences (DCPS) is a department of the Free University of Berlin established in June 2009. The department supports the Botanical Garden Berlin-Dahlem, a large botanical garden and collection. Members of the DCPS are involved in teaching plant biology at different levels, including programs for the general public.

The Secret State Archives Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation (‹See Tfd›German: Geheimes Staatsarchiv Preußischer Kulturbesitz or GStA PK) is an agency of the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation headquartered in Berlin, Germany. A Federal statutory body, it is one of the largest repositories of primary source documents in Germany and spans the history of Prussia, Brandenburg, the House of Hohenzollern and the Prussian Army.

Scherk was a cosmetics company in Berlin, Germany founded by Ludwig Scherk (1880–1946). In Nazi Germany 1938 he was forced to sell it for a low price for Aryanization because he was Jewish. His son Fritz Scherk (1918–1995) bought it back and started a new production in West Berlin in 1951. In 1969 he sold it to the Alberto-Culver Company.

The Bowls Player is an 1857 bronze statue by the Danish sculptor Georg Christian Freund. It is a modern adaptation of classical sculptures of athletes such as Polykleitos's Doryphoros and Myron's Discobolus.The plaster model for the work and the first casting from it were lost in the fire which destroyed the Christiansborg Palace in Copenhagen in 1884.
