ISCTE – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa is a Portuguese public tertiary education institution. It is located in the city centre of Lisbon, in Cidade Universitária, adjoining the Institute of Social Sciences (ICS) and Institute of Geography and Spatial Planning (IGOT) of the University of Lisbon. ISCTE was founded in 1972, starting with three degrees and 296 studentes.

Campo Grande is a neighborhood and former Portuguese civil parish (freguesia) in the municipality of Lisbon. At the administrative reorganization of Lisbon on 8 December 2012 it became part of the parish Alvalade.

The Biblioteca Nacional de Portugal (Portuguese for National Library of Portugal) is the Portuguese national library.

Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro Museum (Portuguese: Museu Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro) is a municipal museum, in Lisbon, Portugal. It is entirely dedicated to the life and works of the artist Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro (1846–1905). It shows many of his collections of caricatures and ceramics.

Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias (Lusophone University of Humanities and Technologies) is the largest Portuguese private university, and the main institution of Grupo Lusófona, which administers other universities and colleges in Portugal, Brazil, Cape Verde, Angola, Guinea-Bissau and Mozambique.

The National Archive of Torre do Tombo (Portuguese: Arquivo Nacional da Torre do Tombo, [ɐɾˈkivu nɐsjuˈnal dɐ ˈtoʁɨ ðu ˈtõbu]) is the Portuguese national archive located in the civil parish of Alvalade, in the municipality of central-northern Lisbon. Established in 1378, it was renamed the Instituto dos Arquivos Nacionais (lit. 'Institute of the National Archives') in 2009.
