The Ayalon Institute (Hebrew: מכון איילון, romanized: Makhon Ayalon) was an underground ammunition factory, located on Kibbutz Hill in Rehovot, Israel, disguised as a kibbutz that ran a laundry service. The factory was established in 1945 and manufactured ammunition until 1948; today it is a museum and national historical site.

The Koffler particle accelerator of the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot, Israel, was built in 1976. The building became a symbol of the institute. In 2011, an astronomical observatory was opened on the top of the building.

The Weizmann House (Hebrew: בית ויצמן) was the home of the first President of Israel, Chaim Weizmann, and first First Lady, Vera Weizmann. The house sits atop a hill in Rehovot, and is now part of the Weizmann Institute of Science. The house was designed by Jewish architect Erich Mendelsohn, and is recognized as a masterpiece.

The Peres Academic Center (Hebrew: המרכז האקדמי פרס Ha-Merkaz ha-Akademi Peres) is a private, not-for-profit, nonsectarian college in Rehovot, Israel. Peres Academic Center was founded in 2006 by Ofra Elul. The president is Prof. Amos Drory and the rector is Prof. Ron Shapira. In 2008 it was recognized by the Council for Higher Education in Israel.in 2013 former US president Bill Clinton gave a speech in the Center.

Rehovot railway station (Hebrew: תחנת הרכבת רחובות, Taḥanat HaRakevet Rehovot) is an Israel Railways station located in the city of Rehovot. It serves the city, the Weizmann Institute of Science and the nearby science industries park, as well as the city of Ness Ziona. The station is named after Ehud Hadar, CEO of Israel Railways between 1994 and 1996.
