Dolmabahçe Palace (Turkish: Dolmabahçe Sarayı, IPA: [doɫmabahˈtʃe saɾaˈjɯ]) located in the Beşiktaş district of Istanbul, Turkey, on the European coast of the Bosporus strait, served as the main administrative center of the Ottoman Empire from 1856 to 1887 and from 1909 to 1922 (Yıldız Palace was used in the interim period).

Beşiktaş Stadyumu (currently known as the Tüpraş Stadyumu for sponsorship reasons) is an all-seater, multi-purpose stadium in the Beşiktaş district of Istanbul, Turkey. It is the home ground of Beşiktaş JK. The stadium was built on the site of Beşiktaş's former home, BJK İnönü Stadium. It has a capacity of approximately 42,590 spectators, after initially being planned for 41,903.

İnönü Stadium (Turkish: İnönü Stadyumu) was a football stadium in Istanbul, Turkey and the home ground of the football club Beşiktaş Previously, the ground had also been shared with Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe The ground was located in Dolmabahçe, close to Dolmabahçe Palace in the district of Beşiktaş, on the European side of Istanbul.

On the evening of 10 December 2016, two explosions caused by a car bombing and suicide bombing in Istanbul's Beşiktaş municipality killed 48 people and injured 166 others. 39 of those killed were police officers, 7 were civilians and 2 were perpetrators. The Kurdistan Freedom Hawks (TAK) assumed responsibility, claiming that their members killed more than 100 police officers.

Dolmabahçe Clock Tower (Turkish: Dolmabahçe Saat Kulesi) is a clock tower situated outside Dolmabahçe Palace in Istanbul, Turkey. Its construction was ordered by Ottoman sultan Abdülhamid II (1842–1918) and designed by the court architect Sarkis Balyan between 1890 and 1895.The clock tower was added to Dolmabahçe Palace, and stands in front of its Treasury Gate on a square along the European waterfront of Bosphorus next to Dolmabahçe Mosque.

Ayaspaşa, also known as Ayazpaşa, is a quarter of Beyoğlu district in Istanbul, Turkey. It is close to Taksim Square and the neighbourhoods of Gümüşsuyu and Cihangir.

The Dolmabahçe Mosque is a baroque waterside mosque in Kabataş in the Beyoğlu district of Istanbul, Turkey, close to the Dolmabahçe Palace. It was commissioned by Queen Mother Bezmialem Valide Sultan and designed by the Turkish Armenian architect, Garabet Balyan in 1855. After his mother's death, Sultan Abdülmecid saw the building work through to completion.

Kabataş is an underground station and eastern terminus of the F1 funicular line and will be the eastern terminus of the M7 metro line of the Istanbul Metro . The station is located under Meclis-i Mebusan Avenue in northeastern Beyoğlu. Connections to the T1 tram line, ferry service and city bus service are available on the surface.

The Istanbul Painting and Sculpture Museum (Turkish: İstanbul Resim ve Heykel Müzesi) is a museum in the Tophane area of European Istanbul, Turkey. It is part of the large Galataport complex.The museum was originally housed in the mansion of the crown prince attached to the Dolmabahçe Palace in the Beşiktaş neighbourhood of Istanbul.

The Necati Cumalı sculpture is a monument in commemoration of Turkish writer Necati Cumalı. The sculpture was erected in 2002 after his death. It was an initiative of the Beşiktaş municipality who commissioned the sculptor Gürdal Duyar.
