The African Renaissance Monument (French: Monument de la Renaissance Africaine) is a 52 m (171 ft) tall bronze statue located on top of one of the twin hills known as Collines des Mamelles, outside Dakar, Senegal. Built overlooking the Atlantic Ocean in the Ouakam suburb, the statue was designed by the Senegalese architect Pierre Goudiaby after an idea presented by president Abdoulaye Wade and built by Mansudae Overseas Projects, a company from North Korea.

The Mosque of Divinity (Arabic: مسجد اللاهوت; French: Mosquée de la Divinité) built 1997, is a mosque located in Ouakam, Senegal. It is a structure with two minarets. The mosque provides a view of the Atlantic Ocean, as the mosque lies near the shore, at the Corniche-Ouest.

Deux Mamelles, Collines des Mamelles, or simply Mamelles are twin hills located in Ouakam, a suburban commune of Dakar, in the Cap-Vert peninsula, Senegal.These hills are of volcanic origin and they are the vestiges of a plateau from the early Quaternary. The highest hill is only 105 metres (344 ft) high, but they stand out in the landscape owing to the flat surroundings.

Les Mamelles Lighthouse (French: Phare des Mamelles) is a strategically important lighthouse situated near Cap Vert, the westernmost point of Africa, on the outskirts of Dakar the capital of Senegal. Completed in 1864, it has been described as "one of the world's great lighthouses, guiding ships around the western tip of Africa".

Suffolk University, Dakar Campus was a division of Suffolk University (of Boston, Massachusetts) in Dakar, Senegal. It was located on the grounds of the École Nationale d'Économie Appliquée (ENEA). The spring 2011 semester concluded its operations, with some students transferring to Boston to complete their studies.
