After crossing the bridge from College Ave., make your way to the south side Lamden Hall basement doors. You will climb a few flights of steps and make a circle around the SDSU Campus Library. You will trek past the Open Air theater, Music and Drama Buildings, the park that contains Scripps Cottege and the turtle pond, East Commons eating area and food courts, the SDSU Bookstore and finally back to the basement. Ample opportunity to grab a few more steps to take detours and rest stops along the way. At a minimum, get your 1000 steps in an enjoyable walk around SDSU.

Love Library (commonly referred to as University Library), opened in 1971, is the primary, central academic library serving multiple campuses of San Diego State University (SDSU) in Southern California and Northern Baja California, Mexico. Located on the Montezuma Mesa in the College Area of San Diego, California, the library underwent a major expansion to improve Library & Information Access for students institution-wide with construction of the Manchester Hall addition including a spectacular glass enclosed atrium to serve as the new entrance gateway for the University Library.
