SDSU Basement to Library and Back

Malcolm A. Love Library (commonly referred to as University Library), opened in 1971, is the primary, central academic library serving multiple campuses of San Diego State University (SDSU) in Southern California and Northern Baja California, Mexico. Located on the Montezuma Mesa in the College Area of San Diego, California, the library underwent a major expansion to improve Library & Information Access for students institution-wide with construction of the Manchester Hall addition including a spectacular glass enclosed atrium to serve as the new entrance gateway for the University Library.

Hepner Hall, designed by the senior architectural designer of the California Division of the State Architect, Howard Spencer Hazen, and completed in 1931, is the iconic academic building in the center of San Diego State University (SDSU)'s campus, just north of Malcolm A. Love Library at the entrance to the Campanile Walkway and main quad.

Hardy Memorial Tower at San Diego State University, constructed as a Works Progress Administration project in 1931, is 11 stories (119.1 ft / 36.3 m) tall; it contains the Fletcher Symphonic Carillon (also known as the Fletcher Chimes) (installed 1946), consisting of 204 bells over 6 octaves. Hardy Memorial Tower is part of the original core of the SDSU campus on Montezuma mesa, and was the university's original library.

The Aztec Student Union is a student union in the center of San Diego State University's campus, just east of Malcolm A. Love Library. The Aztec Student Union was known as the Aztec Center from 1968 to 2011, when it was demolished for the Aztec Student Union. The Aztec Student Union leads into the heart of the SDSU campus and is located near many classrooms and administrative services.

KCR College Radio is an American online radio station. Located on the campus of San Diego State University (SDSU), it was established in 1969 as a student-run alternative to the educational radio station that would become KPBS.

The San Diego State University College of Education is home of SDSU's teacher education and training programs. It offers undergraduate programs, teaching credentials for degree holders, master's degrees and both the Ed.D and Ph.D doctoral degrees.The college prepares undergraduate and graduate students for careers as professional educators, including careers as administrators, teachers, professors, school psychologists and counselors, resource and training specialists, and educational support personnel.

San Diego State University Transit Center is a station on San Diego Trolley's Green Line. The station is underground (the only such station in the system) and has side platforms. The station is located in the Aztec Green on the south portion of the campus of San Diego State University. The station entrances are between College Avenue and Campanile Drive.
