Newham

Newham Collegiate Sixth Form Centre, also known as The NCS, is a free school sixth form college located in East Ham, London, England. Administered by the City of London Academies Trust, it was opened in 2014. The college is coeducational and is affiliated with University College London who is a strategic partner.

East Ham is a district of the London Borough of Newham, England, 8 miles (12.8 km) east of Charing Cross. Within the boundaries of the historic county of Essex, East Ham is identified in the London Plan as a Major Centre. The population is 76,186.

The Denmark Arms is a Grade II listed public house at 381 Barking Road, East Ham, London.It was built in about 1890, and extended about 1900. It was formerly named the Denmark Inn.In the 1890s, local football club Old Castle Swifts would use the Denmark Inn to change for matches at Temple Meadows in Wakefield Street.

City of Faith Church (Jubilee International Church) is a multi-cultural church in South London situated in the London Borough of Lewisham which has faced local opposition. From 1996 until 2015, the congregation was a church in fellowship with the Assemblies of God in Great Britain, a worldwide Pentecostal denomination.

Wellington Windmill was a weather boarded smock windmill which stood near to what is now Dukes Court, Barking, in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham (then a part of Essex).The mill was built in 1815 to assist with work at the nearby mill at Marks Gate. It was named in celebration of his victory at the Battle of Waterloo.

St John the Baptist's Church, East Ham, was a Church of England church dedicated to St John the Baptist in East Ham, east London. It was built in 1866 as a chapel of ease to St Mary Magdalene's Church, then still the main parish church for the area. In 1902 it was converted into a church hall for the new church of St Bartholomew's and in 1925 it was demolished.

St Paul's Church, East Ham or St Paul's Church, Burges Road is a Church of England parish church in East Ham, Newham, east London.The church originated as a mission church of St Mary Magdalene's. Ynyr Burges (died 1792), Paymaster of the East India Company, had built up an estate in the area late in the 18th century, which his great-grandnephew Colonel Ynyr Burges began to develop as building land from about 1887 onwards.
