Moss Valley branch was a two mile long single track line built by the Great Western Railway in what is now the county borough of Wrexham, Wales. It ran from a junction with the Wrexham and Minera Railway at Moss Valley Junction to Moss Halt (or Moss Platform) via three intermediate stations: Gatewen Halt, Pentre Broughton Halt, and Gwersyllt Hill Halt.

New Broughton (standard Welsh: New Broughton; sometimes Brychdyn Newydd; ) is a former industrial village located in Wrexham, North Wales. The population is 3,173, according to the 2001 census, increasing to 3,448 at the 2011 Census.It is part of the wider Broughton local government community, and is situated between Southsea (to the North) and Caego (to the South).
