Lansing River Walk: Moore’s Park to River Point Pa

The Lansing–East Lansing Metropolitan Statistical Area is a metropolitan area located in Central Michigan defined by the Office of Management and Budget, and encompassing the counties of Eaton, Clinton, Ingham and Shiawassee. The region is colloquially referred to as "Mid" or Central Michigan, and less often as "Greater Lansing" or the "Capital Area".

The Michigan Women's Hall of Fame (MWHOF) honors distinguished women, both historical and contemporary, who have been associated with the U.S. state of Michigan. The hall of fame was founded in 1983 by Gladys Beckwith and is sponsored by the Michigan Women's Studies Association. The formation of the Association and the Hall was prompted by five professors from Michigan State University, who were teaching a Women in American Society course.

The Grand Trunk Western station was a historic railroad station in Lansing, Michigan. The station was listed as a Michigan State Historic Site in 1978, and it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

The J.H. Moores Memorial Natatorium, also known as the Moores Park Pool, is a natatorium located at 2700 Moores River Drive in Lansing, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. The pool at Moores Park was the prototype of what became known as the "Bintz Pool," an oval structure located entirely above ground, which was particularly suited to urban areas.

The Red Cedar River is a tributary of the Grand River in central Michigan in the United States. The river is approximately 51.1 miles (82.2 km) long and drains a watershed of approximately 461 square miles (1,190 km2) in the Lansing–East Lansing metropolitan area and suburban and rural areas to the east.

Scott Sunken Garden is a historical landmark in Lansing, Michigan, United States of America.The outer foundation walls are 51 feet by 79 feet and the center is a 28-by-45-foot (8.5 by 13.7 m) feet by 45 feet lawn. There are shorter limestone walls lining the court with raised flower beds. The west side and east sides have limestone steps leading to a small water pond below the grotto center piece.
