The Bush Street–Cottage Row Historic District is a historic district located in the Japantown area of San Francisco, California, U.S.. The area is a residential enclave comprising 20 historical residences, a walkway, and a small park. It is listed as a San Francisco Designated Landmark since September 1991, under the name " Bush Street–Cottage Row"; listed as a listed California Historical Landmark since December 27, 1982; and listed on the National Register of Historic Places on December 27, 1982, for architecture.

The Japan Center is a shopping center in the Japantown neighborhood of San Francisco, California. It opened in March 1968 and was originally called the Japanese Cultural and Trade Center. It is bounded by Geary (on the south), Post (on the north), Fillmore (on the west), and Laguna (on the east). The mall itself is composed of three mall buildings; from west to east, they are the Kinokuniya Mall, Kintetsu Mall (now Japan Center West), and Miyako Mall (now Japan Center East).

The Yugantar Ashram was the building in San Francisco, California, US that housed the headquarters of the Ghadar Party, the liberation movement of India during rule by Great Britain. First headquarters was at 436 Hill St, San Francisco, California. Ghadar Party operated from there from 1913 to 1917. It housed a printing machine which published Ghadar a newspaper from here.

Bop City (also known as Jimbo's Bop City) was a jazz club operated by John "Jimbo" Edwards in San Francisco from 1949 to 1965. It was situated in the back room of a Victorian house at 1690 Post Street, in the Western Addition district. During its heyday, the venue was known for late-night live performances of many popular jazz artists, including Billie Holiday, Louis Armstrong, Chet Baker, and Charlie Parker, and was one of the most famous jazz clubs of its time, being instrumental in popularizing the modern jazz style in San Francisco.

Avery was a restaurant in San Francisco, California. The restaurant served New American cuisine and had received a Michelin star. Avery closed in November 2023.

Japantown (Japanese: 日本町, Hepburn: Nihonmachi), also known historically as Japanese Town, is a neighborhood in the Western Addition district of San Francisco, California. Japantown comprises about six city blocks and is considered one of the largest and oldest ethnic enclaves in the United States.

The San Francisco Peace Pagoda is a five-tiered concrete stupa between Post and Geary Streets at Buchanan in San Francisco's Nihonmachi (Japantown). The Pagoda, located in the southwestern corner of Peace Plaza between the Japan Center Mall and Nihonmachi Mall, was constructed in the 1960s and presented to San Francisco by its sister city Osaka, Japan on March 28, 1968.

The Fillmore is a historic music venue in San Francisco, California.Built in 1912 and originally named the Majestic Hall, it became the Fillmore Auditorium in 1954. It is in Western Addition, on the edge of the Fillmore District and Upper Fillmore neighborhood.Since 2007, it has been operated by Live Nation, which has since named new clubs and renamed existing ones after the Fillmore.
