Menton (French: [mɑ̃tɔ̃]; Occitan: [menˈta], written Menton in classical norm or Mentan in Mistralian norm; Italian: Mentone [menˈtoːne]) is a commune in the Alpes-Maritimes department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region on the French Riviera, close to the Italian border. Menton has always been a frontier town.

Menton is a railway station located in Menton, Alpes-Maritimes, southeastern France. The station was opened in 1869 and is located on the Marseille–Ventimiglia railway. The train services are operated by SNCF.

The Jardin d'agrumes du Palais Carnolès is a two-hectare public garden devoted to citrus trees in the town of Menton, in the Alpes-Maritimes department, France. It is classified as one of the Remarkable Gardens of France by the French Ministry of Culture. It contains 137 varieties of citrus trees, including orange trees, bitter orange trees, grapefruit, mandarin orange and lemon trees.

The Borrigo is a river that flows through the Alpes-Maritimes department of southeastern France. It is 8.4 km (5.2 mi) long. Its source is in Sainte-Agnès, and it flows into the Mediterranean Sea in Menton.

The Gorbio is a short river that flows through the Alpes-Maritimes department of southeastern France. It is 7.7 km (4.8 mi) long. Its source is between the small towns Peille and Gorbio. It flows into the Mediterranean Sea at Roquebrune-Cap-Martin.

The Carei (also: Caréi or Careï) is a river that flows through the Alpes-Maritimes department of southeastern France. It is 10 km (6.2 mi) long. Its drainage basin is 20.3 km2 (7.8 sq mi). Its source is near Castillon, and it flows into the Mediterranean Sea in Menton.
