The Leigh Academy is a state funded academy for the Dartford area of Kent, England. It is part of the Leigh Academies Trust. The academy's principal, also serving as CEO of the trust, is Simon Beamish; he succeeded Frank Green as the principal when it was designated a City Technology College from 1997 to 2007.

Watling Street was a football ground in Dartford, England. Located adjacent to Watling Street, it was the home ground of Dartford F.C. from 1921 until 1992, and was also used by Maidstone United during their time in the Football League.

Hesketh Park is a cricket ground in Dartford in Kent. The ground is the home of Dartford Cricket Club, one of the oldest cricket clubs in the United Kingdom. The ground was established at the beginning of the 20th century and has been used as a first-class cricket venue by Kent County Cricket Club.The ground is located around 1 mile (1.6 km) south-east of Dartford town centre and is one f the few open spaces which remain on what was once the Dartford Brent.
