Balaklava (Ukrainian: Балаклáва, Russian: Балаклáва, Crimean Tatar: Balıqlava, Greek: Σύμβολον) is a settlement on the Crimean Peninsula and part of the city of Sevastopol. It is an administrative center of Balaklava Raion that used to be part of the Crimean Oblast before it was transferred to Sevastopol Municipality.

Naval museum complex Balaklava (Ukrainian: Морський музейний комплекс "Балаклава", Russian: Музей холодной войны, "The Cold War Museum", designation K-825) is an underground submarine base in Balaklava, Crimea (originally known as Object 825 GTS). It was a top-secret military facility during the Cold War, located in Balaklava Bay.

Berdiansk Raion or Berdyansk Raion (Ukrainian: Бердянський район) is one of the five raions (districts) of Zaporizhzhia Oblast in southern Ukraine. The administrative center of the region is Berdiansk. The raion has access to the northern coast of the Sea of Azov. The population is 176,046 (2022 estimate).

Balaklava District (Ukrainian: Балаклавський район, romanized: Balaklavskyi raion; Russian: Балаклавский район) is an administrative raion (district) of the city of Sevastopol.The raion was created in 1930 as part of the Crimean ASSR with its administrative center in Balaklava. After World War II in 1957, it became part of Sevastopol city municipality.

Kadikoi (Crimean Tatar: Qadıköy, Russian: Кадыкой) in the 19th century was a village on the Crimean peninsula, in Ukraine, about one mile north of Balaklava. The Battle of Balaclava (also known as the Battle of Kadikoi to Russian historians) was fought on the hills and valleys to the north of Kadikoi in 1854.

Baryshivka Raion (Ukrainian: Баришівський район, translit.: Baryshivs’kyi raion) was a raion in east-central Kyiv Oblast (province) of Ukraine. Its administrative center was the urban-type settlement of Baryshivka. The raions area totaled 957.6 km². The raion was formerly known as Baryshivska Rairada from 1923 to 1963.
