Mostar is situated on the Neretva River and is the fifth-largest city in the country.[ Mostar was named after the bridge keepers (mostari) who guarded the Stari Most (Old Bridge) over the Neretva during the Ottoman era. The Old Bridge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, commissioned by Suleiman the Magnificent in the 16th century, is one of Bosnia and Herzegovina's most visited landmarks, and is considered an exemplary piece of Islamic architecture in the Balkans.

The Museum of the Old Bridge is a museum located in the Old Town Area of Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina.The museum opened in 2006 to celebrate the second anniversary of the reconstruction of the Old Bridge (locally known as Stari Most). The museum's premises are within the Tara Tower and they consist of three distinct sections.

Radobolja

Radobolja is a river in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is five kilometers long and its spring is located below the Mikuljača hill in Mostar's suburb of Ilići. Radobolja flows through Mostar and flows into the Neretva River near the Old Bridge. During the Ottoman rule water from Radobolja was used for irrigation and drinking, however today's Radobolja is polluted due to discharge of waste-water.
