Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood (Arabic: حي الفهيدي التاريخي; also known as Al Bastakiya) is a historic district in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).The construction of Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood dates back to the 1890s. In its prime, the locality was capable of 60 housing units, most of which were separated by narrow, winding lanes.

It is located in Al Ras, Deira.Al Ras Public Library was the first public library in Dubai, inaugurated by Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum in 1963. The library includes more than 100,000 books in a number of languages and over 170 periodicals.

Al Buteen (Arabic: البطين) is a locality in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Al Buteen is located in eastern Dubai, in Deira and is bounded to its west by Al Ras, its east by Al Sabkha and its north by Al Dhagaya. Dubai Creek forms the southern periphery of the locality. Al Buteen is located between Old Baladiya Street (110th Road) and 21st Street.
