Gloucester Canal Route

Gloucester Waterways Museum is housed in a Victorian warehouse at Gloucester Docks in the city of Gloucester, England. It is located along the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal and River Severn.It is one of several museums and attractions operated by the Canal & River Trust, the successor to The Waterways Trust.

Llanthony Secunda Priory was a house of Augustinian canons in the parish of Hempsted, Gloucestershire, England, situated about 1/2 a mile south-west of Gloucester Castle in the City of Gloucester. It was founded in 1136 by Miles de Gloucester, 1st Earl of Hereford, a great magnate based in the west of England and the Welsh Marches, hereditary Constable of England and Sheriff of Gloucestershire (who resided at Gloucester Castle), as a secondary house and refuge for the canons of Llanthony Priory in the Vale of Ewyas, within his Lordship of Brecknock in what is now Monmouthshire, Wales.

Gloucester Quays (also known as Gloucester Quays Designer Outlet Centre) is an outlet shopping centre on St Ann Way, Gloucester, in the area of the city formerly known as High Orchard. The outlet is situated close to Gloucester Docks, a historic area of the city.

Hempsted is a suburban village and former civil parish, on the edge of Gloucester in the county of Gloucestershire, England. The parish was abolished in 1966 and absorbed into the parish and city of Gloucester. In 1961 the parish had a population of 508.

Bristol Road in the City of Gloucester dates from the medieval period. It runs between Southgate Street in the north and Quedgeley in the south where it joins the Bath Road and the A38. It contains a number of listed buildings and other notable structures.

Gloucester Rowing Club and Gloucester Hartpury is a rowing club on the Gloucester-Purton canal based at Gloucester Boathouse, David Hook Way, Hempsted, Gloucester.

The Tall Ship is a Grade II listed building at 134 Southgate Street, Gloucester. It is located at the entrance to Gloucester Docks. It became a listed building on 15 December 1998.

The Church of St Luke, High Orchard, Gloucester, was a Church of England church built and endowed by the Reverend Samuel Lysons, rector of Rodmarton, who was also the first minister.

Spa Road in the City of Gloucester runs between the junction of Southgate Street and Llanthony Road in the north and Montpellier in the South. It is joined by Brunswick Road on its north side. It contains a number of listed buildings.

LV 14 Sula is a former Humber Conservancy Board lightvessel built in 1958 by Cook, Welton & Gemmell. Originally named SPURN, she was stationed on the Humber Estuary until decommissioning in 1985. Since 2020 she has been privately owned and moored in Llanthony Wharf at Gloucester Docks to provide floating holiday accommodation under the name LV14 SULA.
