The University of Indonesia (Indonesian: Universitas Indonesia, abbreviated as UI) is a public university in Depok, West Java and Salemba, Jakarta, Indonesia. It is one of the oldest tertiary-level educational institutions in Indonesia (known as the Dutch East Indies when UI was established), and is generally considered one of the most prestigious universities in Indonesia, along with the Gadjah Mada University and Bandung Institute of Technology.

Jakarta State Polytechnic (in Indonesian: Politeknik Negeri Jakarta), abbreviated as PNJ. It is located in the north part of Depok, West Java.

Universitas Indonesia Station (UI) is a railway station located in Pondok Cina, Beji, Depok. This station is located on the eastern perimeter of University of Indonesia complex. This station is one of two railway stations serving University of Indonesia, along with Pondok Cina station (casually pronounced pocin or "paw-chin"), about 1 kilometer to the south which is located closer to the university rectorate building.

The Central Library (Indonesian Perpustakaan Pusat) is the main library of the University of Indonesia in Depok, Indonesia. Selected in an open design competition, the design concept was conceived by Denton Corker Marshall. The new library conceptually bridges the ancient knowledge and the contemporary knowledge in a form inspired by the ancient stone steles and light-play.
