Shee Alms House was founded by the Shee family in 1582 'to accommodate twelve poor persons' in the city of Kilkenny, Ireland. It is a nationally significant Tudor period Almshouse.

Prior to this, the site was owned by Franciscan friars who also brewed beer before they were dissolved during the Reformation in 1537.

The Coolaghmore sheela na gig was discovered in 1975 at the 13th century church at Coolaghmore (also Cooliaghmore or Cooliagh More), County Kilkenny, Ireland during clearance work at the graveyard. It is thought to have been buried in the 19th century. According to local sources, it had been found in a well in Kyle previously and been brought to Coolaghmore Graveyard.

Kyteler's Inn is a public house located in the centre of medieval Kilkenny in Ireland.With parts of the building dating to the 13th or 14th century, the building is traditionally associated with the Kyteler family and with Dame Alice Kyteler, an alleged witch from the area. The building has housed an inn since 1639.
