Hualien Coastal Walk

The Dongdamen Night Market or Dongdaemun Night Market (traditional Chinese: 東大門夜市; simplified Chinese: 东大门夜市; pinyin: Dōngdàmén Yèshì) is a night market in Hualien City, Hualien County, Taiwan. It is the largest night market in the county.

The Port of Hualien (Chinese: 花蓮港; pinyin: Huālián Gǎng) is an international port on the Pacific Ocean in Hualien City, Hualien County, Taiwan. Its artificial harbor protected by breakwaters was built in 1930–1939. There are 25 wharves in Hualien Port. The annual container volume is about 13 million tons.

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Hualien (Lat: Dioecesis Hvalienensis) is a diocese of the Latin Church of the Roman Catholic Church in Taiwan.Erected as the Apostolic Prefecture of Hualien in 1952, the prefecture was elevated to a full diocese, in 1963. The diocese is suffragan to the Archdiocese of Taipei.
