The Nankan River (Chinese: 南崁溪; pinyin: Nánkàn Xī; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Lâm-khàm Khe) is a river in northern Taiwan. It flows through Taoyuan City for 31 km.

Nankan New Town (Chinese: 南崁新市鎮; pinyin: Nánkǎn xīn shìzhèn) is a large residential development located at the border of Luzhu District and Guishan District in Taoyuan, Taiwan. It was first proposed as a new town in the 1980s. The project aims to create a town using 32.4 km2 in central Luzhu and northeast Guishan to relocate people from the overcrowded Taipei metropolitan area in response to the emergence of various industries in the area west of Taipei city.

The Hai-Fu Power Plant (Chinese: 海湖發電廠; pinyin: Hǎihú Fādiànchǎng) is a 980 MW combined cycle power station located in Luzhu District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan. The station is located 5 km (3 mi) north east of Taoyuan International Airport. The power station runs on natural gas and consists of two KA24-2 turbines.

The Gallery & Palace (Chinese: 中悅帝寶; pinyin: Zhōngyuè Dìbǎo) is a residential skyscraper complex located in Luzhu District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan. The complex comprises two skyscraper buildings completed in 2006, with a height of 117 m (384 ft) that comprise 29 floors above ground, as well as 3 basement levels.

Shanbi (Chinese: 山鼻站; pinyin: Shānbí Zhàn) is a station on the Taoyuan Airport MRT located in Luzhu District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan. The station opened for commercial service on 2 March 2017.This elevated station has two side platforms and two tracks. The station is 108.7 metres (357 ft) long and 24.4 metres (80 ft) wide.

TaiMall (Chinese: 台茂購物中心; pinyin: Tái mào gòuwù zhòng xīn) is a shopping mall in Luzhu District, Taoyuan, Taiwan that opened on July 4, 1999. It is the first American-style shopping mall in Taiwan.
