The Singapore Sports Museum is a sports museum in Singapore, located at the Singapore Sports Hub in Kallang.The Singapore Sports Museum was established in 1983 at the former National Stadium to preserve and showcase Singapore's sporting heritage. It was opened to the public in May 1983 to coincide with the staging of the 1983 Southeast Asian Games in Singapore.

Aljunied MRT station is an above-ground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the East West line (EWL) in Geylang, Singapore. Named after Aljunied Road, this station primarily serves Aljunied, one of the subzones that make up Geylang planning area. On the EWL, it is between the Paya Lebar and Kallang stations.

Named after Aljunied Road, it was formerly agricultural land which has since been heavily urbanised and presently comprises a variety of land uses. Today, Aljunied is a bustling neighbourhood with HDB flats with amenities like shops, schools, parks and recreational facilities, as well as quite a number of traditional Singaporean shophouses.

Dakota MRT station is an underground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the Circle line in Geylang planning area, Singapore, next to Geylang River.Located along Old Airport Road between the junctions of Jalan Dua and Dakota Crescent, Dakota station took its name from the Dakota DC-3 aircraft that used to frequently land at the former Kallang Airport.

Dakota Crescent is one of Singapore’s oldest housing estates built by Singapore Improvement Trust (SIT), the government development authority, in 1958.Only 15 original blocks, all of which are even numbered, remain. These low-rise flats are located at Old Airport Road. Many of the residents who formerly resided in the old estate of Dakota Crescent were once victims, or relatives or descendants of such persons, of several fire calamities which destroyed the numerous kampongs (villages) all across Singapore at that time, such as mainly from the so-called "Friday The 13th Fire" at Kampong Tiong Bahru on 13 February 1959 and the big fire at Kampong Koo Chye on 5 April 1958 (present-day Lorong 3 Geylang) in Kallang.

Sri Sivan Temple (Tamil: ஸ்ரீ சிவன் கோவில்) is a Hindu temple in Singapore for the god Shiva. The temple was originally located in Potong Pasir from where it was moved three more times before finally coming to the present location, adjacent to Foo Hai Ch'an Buddhist Monastery, in front of Paya Lebar MRT station exit C at Geylang East Avenue 2.

Cheng Beng Buddhist Society, also the Vimalakirti Buddhist Centre (Chinese: 净名佛学社), is a Buddhist monastery in Singapore. The foundation was originally set up by Venerable Wen Ming Hu. The present premises are located at Geylang, Singapore.

Tanjong Katong Complex is a shopping complex in Geylang Serai, Singapore. Constructed in 1982, the complex was the first air-conditioned shopping complex built by the Housing and Development Board and has since become known for servicing the Malay community in the area.

The Former Queen's Theatre is located at the Geylang Road, opposite Lorong 41 road. The theatre had been one of the main entertainment places in Geylang from 1930 to 1982. The building was named Wembley Cinema from 1930 to 1933, Ritz Cinema from 1933 to 1939, and Queen's Theatre from 1939 until it was closed in 1982.
