Portmarnock to Malahide

The Casino Model Railway Museum at Malahide, Ireland (previously called the Fry Model Railway) is the display home for the Fry Model Collection in the refurbished Casino cottage building in central Malahide. It opened to the public on 22 January 2020.The railway and collection was moved from its previous home in Malahide Castle in 2010.

Malahide ( MAL-ə-hyde; Irish: Mullach Íde, meaning 'possibly "the [sand]hill of Íde"') is an affluent coastal settlement in Fingal, County Dublin, Ireland, situated 14 kilometres (9 mi) north of Dublin city. It has a village centre surrounded by suburban housing estates, with a population of over 17,000.

Bon Appétit is a restaurant located at 9 James Terrace, Malahide, County Dublin, Ireland. It is a fine dining restaurant that received one Michelin star in each year from 2008 until 2015.The restaurant is established in 2006 and housed in a classic Georgian house in the village of Malahide. Aside from the Michelin-starred restaurant there is also a brasserie in the building.

The Broadmeadow River (Irish: Abhainn Ghabhra) or Broad Meadow Water, is a river of County Meath and northern County Dublin, about 25 kilometres (16 mi) long. It opens into a wide estuary between Swords and Malahide, and reaches the open sea several kilometres downstream, north of Malahide village. One of the larger watercourses by volume in County Dublin, the Broadmeadow is a salmonid river, with several species of fish, including brown trout.

Portmarnock (Irish: Port Mearnóg) is a coastal suburban settlement in Fingal, Ireland, with significant beaches, a modest commercial core and inland residential estates, and two golf courses, including one of Ireland's best-known golf clubs. As of 2016, the population was 9,466, an increase on the Census 2011 figure of 9,285.

St Sylvester's is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Malahide, Fingal, Ireland. The club was founded in 1903 and last won the Dublin Senior Football Championship in 1996. The club plays hurling and Gaelic football.Barney Rock was the club's manager in 2000.

Malahide Cricket Club Ground or The Village is a cricket ground in Malahide, Ireland situated in the Lady Acre field of Malahide Castle grounds. The ground is owned by the Malahide Cricket Club. The ground has been developed to a capacity of 11,500 making it Ireland's biggest cricket venue and officially opened for international cricket in 2013.

Malahide Cricket Club was founded in 1861 and is situated within Malahide Castle demesne, near the railway station. The club has over 400 members and is open all year round. The club currently fields 20 teams (5 Senior Men’s, 2 Ladies, Development XI, 12 youth and a Taverners side).The club has won a number of honours in its history, most notably the Irish Senior Cup in 2002 (Men's) and the Ladies' Senior Cup and Pilkington Plate competitions.
