HGWC on the Katy Trail

Reverchon Park is a public park in the Oak Lawn area of Dallas, Texas. It was named for Julien Reverchon. The park lies along Turtle Creek, a tributary of the Trinity River. Its main entrance is at Maple Avenue and Turtle Creek Boulevard.

On the morning of July 24, 1973, in Dallas, Texas, 30-year-old Dallas Police Officer Darrell L. Cain murdered Santos Rodriguez, a 12-year-old Mexican-American child. Officer Cain and Officer Roy R. Arnold were investigating reports of a burglary at a Fina gas station when they took Santos Rodriguez and his 13-year-old brother David Rodriguez from their home for an impromptu interrogation over the burglary.

Located at 2821 Turtle Creek Boulevard, the restaurant, which occupies the former 1925 home of cotton magnate Sheppard King and later owned by oilman Toddie Lee Wynne, is the signature restaurant of Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek.

Theatre Three (sometimes styled Theatre3) is a Dallas theatrical company established in 1961 by Norma Young, Jac Alder, Esther Ragland, and Roy Dracup. Originally working from the Sheraton-Dallas Hotel, the theater moved to a location at 2211 Main Street in the Deep Ellum area, eventually settling in The Quadrangle in 1969.

Uptown is a PID (public improvement district) and a dense upscale neighborhood in Dallas, Texas. Uptown is north of and adjacent to downtown Dallas, and is bordered by US 75 (Central Expressway) on the east, N Haskell Avenue on the northeast, the Katy Trail on the northwest, Bookhout Street and Cedar Springs Road on the west, N Akard Street on the southwest and Spur 366 (Woodall Rodgers Freeway) on the south.
