The Vancouver Land Bridge connects Vancouver Waterfront Park to the Vancouver, Washington portion of the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site using a path similar to an ancient Native American trail. The bridge, which spans Highway 14, has been described as "the most visible part of the larger" Confluence Project.

Fort Vancouver was a 19th-century fur trading post that was the headquarters of the Hudson's Bay Company's Columbia Department, located in the Pacific Northwest. Named for Captain George Vancouver, the fort was located on the northern bank of the Columbia River in present-day Vancouver, Washington. The fort was a major center of the regional fur trading.

Wendy Rose is a 10-foot (3.0 m) sculpture installed in Vancouver, Washington, United States. According to The Columbian, the statue represents Wendy the Welder, a sister of Rosie the Riveter who worked at the Kaiser Shipyards during World War II. The 1,000-pound stainless steel and glass statue was created by six artists and Clark College students collectively known as Women Who Weld in 2005, and unveiled to residents in 2007.
