2 one miles loops in Mundy Township Michigan. Woods, meadows, sledding/climbing hill. Areas to rest and relax, nice restrooms, also future location of a “Miricle League” handicap baseball field.
The Miricle League” field is now complete (2025) also the Mundy Township Senior Center is now complete and open as of 9-30-25. In early October they started work on an Amphitheater that will backup to Carmen Creek near where the east and west walking trails meet.
Backs up to my Condo complex, I can “cut-thru” to the walking trails if I choose. Two nice 1 mile loops through meadows and woods. 70 or so years ago it was farm land, so most of the trees are volunteers, so they are shallow rooted and lots of deadfall. The pines seem to do the best but tend to be in concentrated areas, but there are some exceptions with a few beautiful stand alone pines (lonesome pines). Along the east edge of the west loop there are many oak trees that I would assume are over 100 years old. The asphalt walking trails get a fair amount of use and the Township continues to develop it but need to address a few flooding issues. Bathrooms/concession stand are almost complete and soon I believe they are going to break ground for a soft surface baseball field for people with handicaps (wheel chairs etc.) also the Mundy Township senior center is planning on building a new building that will set near the west end of the parking lot. It’s really nice and should get better.
