Ufa Governorate (Russian: Уфи́мская губе́рния, Bashkir: Өфө губернаһы, Öfö gubernahı) was a governorate of the Russian Empire with its capital in the city Ufa. It was created in 1865 by separation from Orenburg Governorate. On June 14, 1922 the governorate was transformed into the Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic.

The Ufa Arena is an 8,250-seat multi-purpose arena in Ufa, Russia that opened in 2007. It has replaced Ice Palace Salavat Yulaev as the home of Kontinental Hockey League ice hockey team, Salavat Yulaev Ufa.The first events in the arena were the first two games of the 2007 Super Series, a hockey series between Canada and Russia juniors.

Ufimsky District (Russian: Уфи́мский райо́н; Bashkir: Өфө районы) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the fifty-four in the Republic of Bashkortostan, Russia. It is located in the center of the republic and borders with Kushnarenkovsky District in the northwest and north, Blagoveshchensky District in the north, Iglinsky District in the east, Karmaskalinsky District in the south, Chishminsky District in the southwest and west, and is split into two uneven parts by the territory of the city of republic significance of Ufa.

The Rodina Cinema (Russian: Кинотеатр Родина, romanized: Kinoteatr Rodina, lit. 'Cinema Motherland') is an historic cinema building in Lenina Street, the main street of Ufa, Bashkortostan, Russia. The building was completed and opened in 1953, and as of 2018 was still being used as a cinema.
