Charles Clore Park (Hebrew: פארק צ'ארלס קלור, Park Charles Clore) is a beachfront park in southwestern Tel Aviv, Israel. Covering 29.6-acre (0.120 km2) of public land along the Mediterranean Sea, it's named after Charles Clore, a British financier, property magnate and philanthropist. The Charles Clore Foundation remains an influential grant and funding organization that supports non-profits based in Israel.

The Dan Tel Aviv Hotel is a 5-star hotel in Tel Aviv. According to Time, it is the "closest Tel Aviv has to a hotel grand dame". It was the first in the Dan Hotels chain.It is located on Tel Aviv's seafront, within walking distance of many attractions, including Tel Aviv Port and the Old City of Jaffa.

Ilana Goor Museum or Ilana Goor Residence and Museum (Hebrew: מוזיאון אילנה גור) is an Israeli museum situated in the historical part of Jaffa, the Mediterranean port town south of Tel Aviv. The museum was founded in 1995 by Ilana Goor, an artist, designer and sculptor. Its eclectic collection has been called an "artistic jungle", but Goor considers it to have been her own "university".

The Battle of Jaffa took place during the Crusades, as one of a series of campaigns between the army of Sultan Saladin (Ṣalāḥ al-Dīn Yūsuf ibn Ayyūb) and the Crusader forces led by King Richard I of England (known as Richard the Lionheart). On 1 June 2001, a Hamas-affiliated Islamist terrorist blew himself up outside the Dolphinarium discotheque on the beachfront in Tel Aviv, Israel, killing 21 Israelis, 16 of whom were teenagers. The majority of the victims were Israeli teenage girls, whose families had recently immigrated from the former Soviet Union.

The al-Bahr Mosque or Masjid al-Bahr (Arabic: مسجد البحر, Misgad HaYam (Hebrew: מסגד הים), meaning in all languages The Sea Mosque, is the oldest extant mosque in the historical part of Jaffa, Israel. Built in 1675, It is situated on the HaAliya HaShniya Street near the harbour. Due to its proximity to the Mediterranean Sea, fishermen and sailors used the mosque, as well as nearby inhabitants of the surrounding area.

On 8 March 2016, a 21-year-old Palestinian man from Qalqilya killed an American tourist and wounded ten other people in a stabbing spree in Jaffa Port, Tel Aviv, Israel. The attacker was shot dead by the police after a chase along the beach promenade.
