La Jolla Cove is a small cove with a beach that is surrounded by cliffs in La Jolla, San Diego, California. Point La Jolla forms the south side of the cove. The area is protected as part of a marine reserve and is popular with snorkelers, swimmers and scuba divers.The swells that often roll in from the open ocean can be large and strong.

La Valencia Hotel in La Jolla, California, known also as "The Pink Lady of La Jolla", is a hotel built in the 1920s in a Spanish colonial revival style that is known for views of La Jolla Cove, and its historic associations with early 20th century Hollywood glamor. Founded as Los Apartmentos de Sevilla, it changed to its current name in 1928, two years after it opened.
