Tickhill Castle was a castle in Tickhill, on the Nottingham/Yorkshire West Riding border, England and a prominent stronghold during the reign of King John.

Strafforth and Tickhill, originally known as Strafforth, was the southernmost wapentake in the West Riding of Yorkshire, England. The west of the district, plus a detached area in the east, constituted the Upper Division, while the central area and a detached part in the extreme east constituted the Lower Division.

The Hospital of St Mary Magdalene, Bawtry was a charity established in Bawtry in the thirteenth century. The surviving chapel building is now a masonic lodge and Grade II listed.

St Mary's Church is a Grade I listed Anglican church in Tickhill, South Yorkshire, England. Dating from the early 12th century and built with local Magnesian Limestone the structure today is predominantly of Perpendicular style with glimpses of earlier Norman, Early English and Decorated styles. The large west tower of the church is 128 feet (39 m) high.

St Leonard's Hospital is a grade II* listed timber-framed building in Tickhill, South Yorkshire, in England. It was originally constructed in the 15th century as a monastic building.The first hospital in Tickhill dedicated to Saint Leonard was on Spital Hill, a marshy location outside the built-up part of the town, considered suitable as accommodation for lepers.

Royal Air Force Bawtry or more simply RAF Bawtry is a former Royal Air Force station located at Bawtry Hall in Bawtry, South Yorkshire, England and was No. 1 Group RAF Bomber Command headquarters and administration unit during and following the Second World War. The site is currently being used as a Luxury Wedding Venue, working with the Crown Hotel in Bawtry

Serlby Park Academy is a mixed all-through school and sixth form located in the twin villages of Bircotes and Harworth in North Nottinghamshire. The school also serves the nearby towns of Serlby, Styrrup, Blyth, Misson, among others.It is part of the Delta Academies Trust, along with several other schools and academies in the area.
