Lanzhou (UK: , US: ; simplified Chinese: 兰州; traditional Chinese: 蘭州; pinyin: Lánzhōu; Postal romanisation: Lan-chou/Lan Chow) is the capital and largest city of Gansu Province in Northwest China. Located on the banks of the Yellow River, it is a key regional transportation hub, connecting areas further west by rail to the eastern half of the country.

Chengguan District (simplified Chinese: 城关区; traditional Chinese: 城關區; pinyin: Chéngguān Qū; lit. 'City Gate District') is one of 5 districts of the prefecture-level city of Lanzhou, the capital of Gansu Province, China. It is located mostly on the southern side of the Yellow River, and includes the downtown Lanzhou.
