Duisburg harbor tour

The Innenhafen (Inner Harbour) in Duisburg, Germany, is connected to the Rhine River, encompasses an area of 89ha. For over a hundred years during the high point of the Industrial Revolution, it was the central harbour and trading point of the town. Since the mid 1960s, the importance of the harbour declined and it lay in a disused condition for 20 years, before plans for renovation were drawn up.

Museum Küppersmühle (MKM) is a Centre for Modern and Contemporary Art based Duisburg's Inner Harbour. It houses the Ströher Collection. It is part of the Duisburg: Town and Harbour section of the Ruhr Industrial Heritage Trail.

Portsmouth Damm is a 97-metre-long (318 ft) structure located in the Inner Harbour of Duisburg, Germany. It was completed in 1998. It links both sides of the Inner Harbour, whilst also separating the rear harbour which is maintained at a higher level. On 18 August 2000 it was named after the English city of Portsmouth, with which Duisburg had been twinned for fifty years.

The Werhahnmühle is a complex of offices, restaurants and a museum located in Duisburg's Inner Harbour It occupies the former silo and mill buildings of the Rheinische Mühlenwerke Werhahn. It is part of the Duisburg: Town and Harbour section of the Ruhr Industrial Heritage Trail.
