Floral City South

Floral City is a census-designated place (CDP) in Citrus County, Florida, United States. The population was 5,216 at the 2010 census. The community is home to the Floral City Heritage Hall Museum and hosts the Floral City Heritage Days the first weekend in December. The area has a history of phosphate mining and includes historic homes.

Istachatta is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Hernando County, Florida, United States. The population was 116 at the 2010 census, up from 65 at the 2000 census. The name "Istachatta" is derived from a Seminole word meaning "man snake".

Pineola is an unincorporated community in Southeastern Citrus County, Florida. It is located in the southeastern part of the county, to the south of Floral City. It is along County Road 39 (South Istachatta Road) between the Hernando County-Citrus County Line north of Istachatta and County Road 48(East Bushnell Road).

Floral City Heritage Hall Museum is a museum in Floral City, Florida. It is located in a Fire Station building in downtown Floral City. The fire station closed in January 2000 and the museum opened on December 4, 2009, for Floral City Heritage Days as the Heritage Museum & Country Store. It includes two galleries, a library, media center, and store.

The Floral City Historic District is a U.S. Historic District (designated as such on December 1, 1993) located in Floral City, Florida. The district runs roughly along Orange Avenue from South Old Floral City Road to South Annie Terrace and South Aroostook Way from Orange to Tsala Apopka Lake. It contains 26 historic buildings and 2 structures.
