Daan Forest

Daan District (or Da-an District, Da'an District) is an important educational, commercial, residential and cultural district of Taipei City, Republic of China (Taiwan). The name of the district means "great safety" or "great peace".

Daan Forest Park (Chinese: 大安森林公園) is a public park near the centre of the Da'an District of Taipei, Taiwan. The park occupies twenty-six hectares and is bordered on its north, south, east and west by Xinyi Road, Heping Road, Jianguo Road and Xinsheng Road, respectively. The park is used by residents of Taipei as a green activity space and for various outdoor activities.

The Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection (BSMI; traditional Chinese: 經濟部標準檢驗局; simplified Chinese: 经济部标准检验局; pinyin: Jīngjìbù Biāozhǔn Jiǎnyànjú) is the administrative agency of the Ministry of Economic Affairs of the Taiwan (ROC) responsible for standardization, metrology and product inspection in Taiwan.

The Industrial Development Bureau, MOEA (IDB; Chinese: 經濟部工業局; pinyin: Jīngjìbù Gōngyèjú) is the administrative agency of the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Taiwan.

The Taipei Metro Daan Park station is a metro station on the Red Line located beneath Xinyi Rd, Sec. 3 between Xinsheng South Rd. and Jianguo South Rd. in Da'an District, Taipei, Taiwan. It is located at the northern end of the Daan Forest Park for which it is named after. The station was opened on 24 November 2013.

The Taipei Grand Mosque (Chinese: 台北清真寺; pinyin: Táiběi Qīngzhēnsì; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Tâi-pak Chheng-chin-sī) is the largest and oldest mosque in Taiwan. Located in the Da'an District of Taipei City, it is Taiwan's most important Islamic structure.

The Taipei Main Public Library (Chinese: 臺北市立圖書館; pinyin: Táiběi Shìlì Túshūguǎn) is the central library of Taipei City, Taiwan. It is the main library of the Taipei Public Library System. The building is located in Jianguo South Road, Da'an District, near the Daan Forest Park.

Rerum Novarum Centre, Taipei, increased operations in 1971 but had roots going back to Jesuit social services in Taiwan since the 1950s. The Centre tries to meet the major social and legal needs of native and foreign workers in the greater Taipei area, while also responding to emergencies and to the needs of the aboriginal peoples of Northern Taiwan.

Jinhua Park (traditional Chinese: 金華公園; simplified Chinese: 金华公园; pinyin: Jīnhuá Gōngyuán) is a park in Da'an District, Taipei, Taiwan.

The Mongolian and Tibetan Cultural Center (Chinese: 蒙藏文化中心; pinyin: Měng Zàng Wénhuà Zhōngxīn) is a cultural center in Da'an District, Taipei, Taiwan under the administration of the Ministry of Culture. It was previously under the Mongolian and Tibetan Affairs Commission of the Executive Yuan, which in 2017 had its duties absorbed into the Ministry of Culture and the Mainland Affairs Council's Department of Hong Kong, Macao, Inner Mongolia, and Tibet Affairs.
