Chestnut Hill Resevoir

Chestnut Hill Reservoir is a reservoir created in 1870 on existing marshes and meadowland to supplement the city of Boston's water needs, located in its namesake neighborhood of Chestnut Hill. A 1.56 mile jogging loop abuts the reservoir. Chestnut Hill Reservoir was taken offline in 1978 as it was no longer needed for regular water supply distribution, but is maintained in emergency backup status.

Chestnut Hill Reservation is a public recreation area and historic preserve surrounding the Chestnut Hill Reservoir in the Chestnut Hill and Brighton neighborhoods of Boston, Massachusetts. The reserve is part of the Chestnut Hill Reservoir Historic District, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and is a City of Boston Landmark.

On January 25, 1971, a luxury condominium building under construction at 2000 Commonwealth Avenue in Brighton, Boston, Massachusetts, collapsed, killing 4 construction workers and injuring 30 others.: 176–183 

The Chestnut Hill Reservoir Historic District is a historic district encompassing the Chestnut Hill Reservoir and the surrounding water works facilities which were historically used to provide fresh water to Boston, Massachusetts, and surrounding towns. The district is nearly coextensive with the Chestnut Hill Reservation, a state park managed by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR); those elements of the water works that are still required as an emergency backup are managed by the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA).

Chestnut Hill Avenue station is a light rail surface stop on the MBTA Green Line B branch, located in the median of Commonwealth Avenue just east of Chestnut Hill Avenue in the Brighton neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. Chestnut Hill Avenue has two low-level platforms, serving the B branch's two tracks; the stop is not accessible.

The Waterworks Museum is a museum in the Chestnut Hill Waterworks building, originally a high-service pumping station of the Boston Metropolitan Waterworks. It contains well-preserved mechanical engineering devices in a Richardsonian Romanesque building.During its busiest years, the waterworks pumped as much as a hundred million gallons of water each day.: 125  The station was decommissioned in the 1970s, and later some of its buildings were turned into condominiums.

Eddie Pellagrini Diamond at John Shea Field was a baseball stadium in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. It was the home field of the Boston College Eagles baseball team from 1961 to 2017. The stadium held 1,000 people and was named after Commander John Joseph Shea, USN, a former football player (1916–1917) at Boston College, who died on September 15, 1942, when the aircraft carrier USS Wasp was torpedoed and sunk during the Guadalcanal Campaign in World War II.

Cleveland Circle is a surface light rail station on the MBTA Green Line C branch, located in the Brighton neighborhood of Boston, at Cleveland Circle. Cleveland Circle station is handicapped accessible, with raised platforms to accommodate low-floor trams.

South Street station is a light rail surface stop on the MBTA Green Line B branch, located in the median of Commonwealth Avenue east of South Street in the Brighton neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. South Street is the lowest-ridership stop on the B branch, with just 214 daily boardings by a 2011 survey.
