Hushan Trail

Zhongxing New Village (Chinese: 中興新村) is an urban village located in Nantou City, Nantou County, Taiwan (ROC) and until 2018 was the seat of government of Taiwan Province. The term zhōngxīng is from a Chinese legend (少康中興; Shàokāng Zhōngxīng), referring to the restoration of the Xia Dynasty by king Shao Kang, an allusion to the ROC government taking back mainland China.

The Soil and Water Conservation Bureau (SWCB; Chinese: 行政院農業委員會水土保持局; pinyin: Xíngzhèngyuàn Nóngyè Wěiyuánhuì Shuǐtǔ Bǎochíjú) is the agency of the Council of Agriculture of the Taiwan (ROC) with the main tasks of soil and water conservation, watershed management and erosion control.
