Cardinia Road railway station is located on the Pakenham line in Victoria, Australia. It serves the south-eastern Melbourne suburb of Pakenham, and it opened on 22 April 2012.Construction works commenced in October 2010, and the station opened eighteen months later.Flashing light signals were provided at the former Cardinia Road level crossing, which was located at the Up end of the station, in 1978, with boom barriers provided later on in 1986.
