The 11th arrondissement of Paris (XIe arrondissement) is one of the 20 arrondissements of the capital city of France. In spoken French, this arrondissement is referred to as onzième.The arrondissement, called Popincourt, is situated on the right bank of the River Seine. The arrondissement is one of the most densely populated urban districts of any European city.

The 20th (or XXe or vingtième) arrondissement of Paris is the last of the consecutively numbered arrondissements of the capital city of France. Also known as Ménilmontant (pronounced [menilmɔ̃tɑ̃]), it is located on the right bank of the River Seine and contains the city's cosmopolitan districts Ménilmontant and Belleville.

Boulevard Voltaire is a well-known boulevard in the 11th arrondissement of Paris. It was created by Baron Georges-Eugène Haussmann during the reign of French emperor Napoleon III. Originally named Boulevard du Prince-Eugène, it was renamed Boulevard Voltaire on 25 October 1870 in honour of the French Enlightenment writer, historian, and philosopher Voltaire.

Gambetta (French: [ɡɑ̃bɛta] (listen)) is a station of the Paris Métro. It serves Line 3 and is the southern terminus of Line 3bis. Its located in the 20th arrondissement of Paris.

Charonne (French pronunciation: [ʃaʁɔn] (listen)) is a station on line 9 of the Paris Métro. It was opened on 10 December 1933 with the extension of the line from Richelieu – Drouot to Porte de Montreuil.The station is named after the Rue de Charonne and the district of Charonne. In 1008, Robert II of France the Pious gave Charonne to the Abbey of Saint-Magloire, but it changed hands over the centuries.

The Cimetière Sainte-Marguerite was a cemetery in a common ditch located between Paris and the village of Charonne during the French Revolution. It was level with 36 rue Saint-Bernard and beside église Sainte-Marguerite in the 11th arrondissement of Paris. It received 73 guillotined prisoners from place de la Bastille between 9 and 12 June 1794 then the first victims from place du Trône Renversé (now place de la Nation) before bodies from there started being sent to the cimetière de Picpus.

Artistic Athévains is a theatre in Paris, located at 45 bis rue Richard-Lenoir in the 11th arrondissement. It was originally a café-concert, dating from the beginning of the 20th century.

Père Lachaise (French pronunciation: ​[pɛʁ laʃɛːz]) is a station of the Paris Métro, serving Line 2 and Line 3 on the border of the 11th and 20th arrondissements.

Voltaire (French pronunciation: [vɔltɛːʁ] (listen)) is a station on line 9 of the Paris Métro. The station is located in the Place Léon Blum (formerly called the Place Voltaire) along with the town hall of the 11th arrondissement, which serves a lively district.The station was opened on 10 December 1933 with the extension of the line from Richelieu – Drouot to Porte de Montreuil.

The Musée du Fumeur (Smoking Museum) is a private museum of smoking located in the 11th arrondissement of Paris at 7 rue Pache, Paris, France. It is open daily except Monday; an admission fee is charged. The nearest métro station is Voltaire.The museum is located within a 650-square-foot (60 m2) storefront, and contains a collection of smoking objects including European pipes, 17th century clay pipes, Native American ceremonial pipes, hookahs, Chinese opium pipes, Egyptian sheeshas, and snuffboxes, as well as cigars, tobacco samples, hemp-fiber clothing, and etchings, portraits, photographs, videos, and scientific drawings of tobacco plants.
